This year’s 2023 annual convention will be held at the
Roland E. Powell Convention Center on October 20-21, 2023. The theme is “Oceans of Opportunity in Child Nutrition”. Please jump with us into these oceans to network, earn CEU credits toward certification and have fun at our culminating awards dinner banquet followed by door prizes and dancing with more than 300 school food service professionals across the state of Maryland.
Our event will begin on Friday at 3:00 p.m. for Leadership Training followed by MdSNA Annual House of Delegates meeting. For those arriving early on Friday, watch for our fabulous pre-con options that you won't want to miss (limited tickets available.)
We will reconvene bright and early on Saturday morning with our Quiche on the Beach Breakfast buffet at 7:30 a.m. and move into our exciting Opening Session at 9:00 a.m. featuring Keynote Speaker, Joe Pettit from
New Leaf Leadership Development.
Back by popular demand, McCormick will have a hands-on culinary event for all to enjoy in the opening general session, followed by multiple professional development options and a huge exhibit floor where you can see what's new and innovative in school nutrition products.
Our time together will end with a wine and beer reception and Awards Dinner Banquet at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday where we will enjoy dancing the night away.
